Tule Sacramento Heat Pump installs, replaces and converts ducted heat pumps across Sacramento County, south Placer County, east Yolo County and El Dorado Hills. ### Rancho Cordova

Rancho Cordova sits in SMUD territory and Title 24 climate zone 12, with the same 98°F cooling design at the 1% level as Sacramento and a 31°F heating design at 0.2%. Its housing is mixed: about half of its homes were built before 1980 and about three in ten since 2000, so a job may be an original-duct ranch house or a newer tract home. The City of Rancho Cordova issues the permit; its HVAC permit rules are confirmed per address.

Natomas is inside the City of Sacramento, so the City's online minor permit applies, and its housing is new: in ZIP 95835 about 86% of homes were built in 2000 or later. That makes most jobs a gas furnace and AC from the 2000s converting to a heat pump. In the City's permit data for October 26, 2025 to October 25, 2026, ZIP 95835 recorded 142 gas-to-heat-pump conversions against 6 heat-pump-to-heat-pump replacements.

### Pocket and Greenhaven

Pocket and Greenhaven along the Sacramento River had the most heat pump permits of any City of Sacramento ZIP in the same 12-month window, 293 in 95831, and the highest share of heat pump to heat pump replacements among City ZIPs: 94 of its 243 standard change-outs. About 46% of 95831 households already heat with electricity, so many jobs here are replacing an older heat pump rather than converting from gas.

Galt, at the south end of Sacramento County, runs a little cooler in summer and colder in winter than Elk Grove: the California Energy Commission's design data gives 95°F cooling at the 1% level and 28°F heating at 0.2%.
